Dear Henrique,
Could you please let me know what's the name of the beautiful rose blooming behind your beautiful daugher?
Many thanks in advance.

HELLO, DEAR JANINE.
FIRST OF ALL, MANY THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT.
THE ROSE IS "MAGIC MEILLANDECOR" WITH SOME FLOWERS OF " ICE MEILLANDECOR". THEY HAVE MORE THAN 10 YEARS. THEY ARE BOTH " COUVRE-SOL" FROM MEILLAND RICHARDIER.
"MAGIC MEILLANDECOR" IS A TERRIBLE SEPREADING ROSE OVER THE SANDY SOIL. SO, I DECIDED TO TRANSFORM IT AS A CLIMBER.
IF YOU WISH TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT , PLEASE SAY ME.
CHEERS FROM PORTUGAL TO GERMANY.

Dear Henrique,
Thank you so much for your swift reply.
As I knew the name of the rose now I found more photos you took of her and I really love her!
I have a lot of space in my gardens because I have no neighbours. Therefore I can plant gigantic roses and that is what I am looking for. The bigger the better :)
Also I am very happy to find out that MAGIC MEILLANDECOR is not only once blooming but throughout the season.
I will buy MAGIC MEILLANDECOR for next spring!!!

Indeed there is one more question I have concerning your garden - I hope you don't consider me too curious:
I understand your garden is located in Lissabon, Portugal, right?
Moreover you have a large number of roses and among them a large number of giant rose bushes.
How do you provide water for all of them?
Are they self-sufficient?

I wonder because I have no water-supply in my garden and hope that one day all roses will be self-sufficient like the giant oak trees growing next to my garden.

Thank you very much in advance for your kind support and advice.
Have a wonderful advent, you and your family!

Janine

DEAR JANINE,
TOMORROW I'M GOING TO MY SECOND GARDEN AT THE NORTHEAST OF PORTUGAL . I HAVE NOT MUCH TIME TO GIVE YOU NOW MANY INFORMATIONS. MAY BE THERE I CAN RESPOND WITH MORE INFORMATIONS , BUT I SAY ONE THING TO SATISFY YOUR CURIOSITY. MY "AZEITÃO" GARDEN IS ON ONE OF THE MORE RICH RESERVES OF WATER IN EUROPE, DESPITE THE SANDY SOIL.
THANKS FOR YOUR VOTES AND I RECIPROCATE.
Henrique
