Onceblooming ist not the correct discription. In his catalogue, Peter Lambert wrote: "continuous bloom until autumn" and this matches with my experience in Sangerhausen and Trier (Germany).

Journal des Roses 1913, S. 25: Rouge violet ardoisé très sombre; filets des étamines blancs dans le milieu des pétales. Magnifique rose à effet, pour décoration. Floraison abondante en été. Pleine.

Thank you! Do know if this rose still exists?

The description in Journal des Roses is until now the only hint for the existence of this rose. Perhaps Lambert gave one of his numerous roses, he introduced in these years, a new name for the french market.

In his catalogue of 1914, Peter Lambert offers a rose "Strichblume" without giving a breeder . It is mentioned in the group of the Nordlandroses, in the same group as Rote Beka, El-Ariana and Sphinx. Lambert always marked his own roses with a frame around the name, and these roses are without a frame. Can it be a breeding of Geschwind?

Surely someone in our rose community can be of help here.

In the 1914 catalogue of Peter Lambert, Sphinx is mentioned in the group of the Nordlandroses, a group created by R. Geschwind. Peter Lambert marked his roses with a frame around the name and Sphinx hasn't any frame, so it is probably not a rose bred by P. Lambert. Can it be an introduction of a Geschwind rose?
