Thank you Michael, you nailed it! I thought I was the only one that thought it was horrendous. I've decided it needs to go.

I am waiting for the day a grand mauve floribunda arrives on the scene. For fragrance and easiness, I grow Shocking Blue. And my friend grows Blueberry Hill, because its pretty, even though its almost scentless. But none of them are grand, really.

I also grow Neptune. Gorgeous flowers. Meh plant. But its not a giant plant like the older mauve HTs, or needy like the even older mauve HTS.

I grow Distant Drums, which is a nice plant and super fragrant. The plant takes care of itself, really. But it is not true mauve. Orchid and mocha colors, really.
