That looks absolutely fascinating. Most unusual, but very pleasing.
Some of the other photos of this rose are not nearly as interesting. Does it have a wide variation in form and colour?

All of my new photos are from my new cutting. This rose was bred locally here tin the Hunter Valley NSW Australia and is no longer commercially available so as a local rose society member I am try to keep this rose in existence. I also intend to try and breed from it and with it and from it

The area was another thing that caught my eye. I'm a Newcastle lad originally, although it's been a long time since I lived there.
HMF is a bit short on information on this rose, so I'll be interested to see what you can add.

Pink Angel was bred by Marguerite Parkes in 1974 I think for her daughter. Marguerite is a life member of the Hunter Valley Regional Rose Society, who have dedicated the garden at the Maitland information centre to her. We have her roses planted there and members are striving to keep her roses growing. The rose does change a bit as it ages and with the full sun gets lighter in colour.
