Here in central New Jersey, my 2-year-old own-root "Bermuda Spice" needs to be cut back a lot after Winter, but doesn't seem to mind. Last year, it reached about 4 feet tall and slightly wider, but this is its size at its first flush for 2015.
"Bermuda Spice" has stronger pink tones and larger, fuller blooms when the weather is cooler. By mid-Summer, blooms are smaller, a little less full, and more cream to white in color.
