I have always loved roses. I had a Cecile Brunner, at one point. Now I have an Eden Rose. So beautiful. I saw a hmusk rose I believe to be Lupe's Buttons. I m researching it's lineage. All I found out is that it was discovered in 2004 by Merrill Hulse. I haven't seen it anywhere except at this website. I can't imagine where my friend got hers. It has beautiful clusters of white single flowers, hardly scented (that's the only drawback) with arching canes and continuous blooming here in Southern California. I wanted to obtain one for my atrium. Penelope also looks like it could be the rose, but it seems to be shorter. My friend's roses cane grow pretty tall.
Other plants I love are night blooming jasmine, and bamboo. I am currently researching bamboos, and have found the clumping varieties I plan to get for my atrium and property.
