I am a small own root rose nursery located in Central Michigan, just opening my doors in summer 2018. Currently, I am 100% mail order, but plan to open my property for larger potted rose purchases in a couple years. My current inventory of mother plants, consists of approximately 400 variety's.
My roses will be sold 'band' size, and will be shipped by removing the pot, and wrapping the roots in moist medium for shipping. For Category 1 states (CA, ID, CO, WA, OR, NV, UT, MT, AZ) bareroot shipping is required due to agricultural guidelines. The soil will be removed and the root ball will be wrapped in moistened sphagnum moss, then wrapped in moistened paper towel, inside a plastic baggie.
I've been growing roses for 25 years, and have supplied numerous members of my family and friends with roses for their own rose gardens. I enjoy rooting roses and have wanted to open a small nursery for many years. I am now in a location that enables me to do that, so I am following that dream.
