I'm a married guy living in Los Angeles with my husband, who likes plants and has planted drought-tolerant gardens in the front and back yards, so I started experimenting with a container garden with roses, dahlias, chrysanthemums, peonies, etc.
In the summer of 2022, I purchased my first five potted roses from Heirloom Roses - Twilight Zone (2 yrs old), Neil Diamond (1st year), Just Joey (1st year), Earth Angel (1st year), Lady of Shalott (1st year), Betty White (1st year), Cherry Parfait (1st year).
This winter of 2023, four David Austin bare root roses to come - Boscobel, Gabriel Oak, Queen of Sweden, and The Poet's wife. Looking forward to seeing the plants grow and the flowers bloom.
