Gallica / Provins.  Purple.  Deep smoky violet with strong purple-magenta inner petals. Fades to slatey-mauve and purples. One of the.  Strong, centifolia, old rose fragrance.  Medium-large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, quartered bloom form.  Moderate, once-blooming spring or summer.  USDA zone 4b through 8b.  Height of 4' to 7' (120 to 215 cm).  Width of 3' to 6' (90 to 185 cm).
