This rose is growing as a very large "tree." It is possible that it may be a climber???

Historic Rose Garden, Sacramento Old City Cemetery, 18 April 2009. This is a short but widely suckering moss that fills an area about 8 feet x 8 feet. I should add that it doesn't seem to resemble the other roses shown here under the same name!

George Smith - 2007 George is the gentleman who developed this wonderful collection of heritage roses. The yellow rose directly behind him is Percy Wright's "Kilwinning". The glauca rose in the background is Walter Schowalter's R. rubrifolia x "Longfellow" (an extra tall growing Woodsii).
