Thank you, Rose Nut! It's a very good rose and one of my favorite Buck roses, second only to Quietness, which, believe it or not, out blooms even this one! They are both fairly good at fighting off black spot and both are extremely winter hardy for me.

You sure tested the hardiness of this one this winter. It might not repeat well, but it lived! Sorry for the loss of so many of your roses. Your photographs of Rose de Rescht are beautiful.

Thanks, Jasmine! RdR suffered a lot of die back this winter and I had to cut her to about 6 inches tall but she is already 4 feet tall and blooming again! I'd say she's a pretty tough cookie!
