Good morning,

I am looking for 'Étoile de Portugal' the first gigantea bred in Europe by Cayeux, I wish to return in a way the variety to the place it was first born, however sourcing it has been a complex issue, this is not the first time we tried to request it to the past frenchtearose and now roseraie du desert, at the time we were told it was about to be sold and we have contacted the new owners, in S'orrosa Sergio Scudo passing is very unfortunate and a huge loss, La campanella and others likewise, Brexit cut other sources and other HMF members with this rose listed have been inactive for 10 years, I'm about to call Cavriglia rosetto "Carla Fineschi", if in any way you do still have access to this variety, I'd be very grateful if you could help.

With my best regards,
Carlos D Neves

This rose is closer to what we regard as a tea, it has a good tea fragrance. The european teas originated from this type of rose

Yes, I'm not surprised. I've suspected this for years. Thank you!
