Suzanne Horn is an enthusiastic exhibitor, speaker and writer who grows about 475 exhibition roses of all types, all in containers, in her Glendale, California home. ARS President Bob Martin has opined that she has the finest all-container garden in the country. Suzanne has a background in entertainment and loves doing PowerPoint presentations for rose societies, Consulting Rosarian Schools, Judging Schools and District events about growing and showing roses. Suzanne is currently head of the ARS Horticultural Exhibitors Committee and Vice Director of the Pacific Southwest District. She also serves on the Miniature & Miniflora Committee, the Combined Registration & Classification Committee and the Newsletter Evaluation Committee. A former newspaper columnist, Suzanne has turned her writing skills to her first love, roses. She is a contributing editor to “The American Rose” and is a regular award-winning columnist for The Pacific Rose Society newsletter, “The Pacific Rose”. Her work has also appeared in newsletters around the country, Rose Exhibitor’s Forum, and in the 2006, 2008 and 2019 ARS Annuals. Suzanne was named Outstanding Consulting Rosarian for the Pacific Southwest District in 2014 and is also an accredited ARS Horticultural Judge.
