HMF Ratings:

EXCELLENT-.
ARS:
Deep pink Hybrid Multiflora. Exhibition name: De la Grifferaie
Bloom:
Deep pink. Medium, very double, cluster-flowered bloom form.
Habit:
Climbing. Height of 8' 2" (250 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very hardy.
Notes:
Exact parentage is unknown, but was always described with the other early Hybrid Multifloras that were derived from Rosa x multiflora 'Carnea.' The color can edge into the lavender range. This rose tolerates alkaline conditions better than many of the Multiflora descendants. We find it often in California, as it was used as rootstock. Lucky us! If it were remontant, it'd be a "million-seller." J. Jennings
