Bred by P. J. Looymans (Looijmans) (Netherlands, before 1922).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1922 as 'Elvira Aramayo'.
Introduced in France by Paul Nabonnand in 1922 as 'Elvira Aramayo'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'Elvira Aramayo'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, copper shading, salmon-orange shading, yellow undertones.   (Rouge indien).  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Dense, upright, well-branched.  

Height: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
