A Rosa sempervirens Rambler with evergreen leaves. Very good in cold, windy gardens. Jacques (France) 1827. (Rosa sempervirens x Rosa chinensis) Summer flowering. Liable to mildew. Height: 22 ft. Delicate, primrose-like scent.

Bred by Antoine A. Jacques, head gardener to the Duc d'Orléans at Château de Neuilly from 1824 to 1832.

Félicité et Perpétue (1827). Almost evergreen under favourable conditions, this old favourite has small red buds opening to double pompom-like creamy white fragrant flowers. One profuse flowering in midsummer and will grow to 6 metres or more.

Félicité et Perpétue (Rambler) A Vigorous rambler bearing large clusters of rather small creamy-white blooms which are globular in form and scented.  A useful rambler in that it is later flowering – early to mid July – and is almost evergreen 1827 •  T. N. (S) 20’ plus.
