Origin:
Bred by Dr. Franz Hermann Müller (Germany, 1904).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Gruss an Sangerhausen'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Short, thornless (or almost).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
