Introduced in Australia by Henry Sewell, Payneham Nurseries in 1905 as 'Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt'.

Bloom:

Cream, light pink center. Light flesh tinted pink. Strong fragrance. Very large, full (26-40 petals), scalloped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Upright. Light green foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.

Edith Kermit Carow was the second wife of Theodore Roosevelt. She was born in Connecticut on 6 August 1861. She married Roosevelt in London on 2 December 1886. She died on 30 September 1948 in Oyster Bay, New York, and was buried there.
