Mauve or purple blend. None to mild fragrance. Average diameter 2.5". Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Tall, bushy, upright, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height of up to 3' (up to 90 cm).
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
According to Tiny Petals Nursery Violet Mist is now classed as a Mini-Flora. 'Violet Mist' has pale lavender blooms that look fragile yet last for days. Slightly larger than most minis, the sweetheart blooms on long stems are somewhere between minis and floribundas.
