Introduced in United States by Pitcher and Manda Nursery in 1899 as 'Jersey Beauty'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1904 as 'Jersey Beauty'.

Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, ages to cream .  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  

Height: 12' to 16' (365 to 490cm).  Width: 10' (305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Vigorous.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Prune after flowering is finished.
