'Madame Edouard Ory' rose Description

Origin:
Bred by M. Robert (France, 1854). Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Madame Edouard Ory'.
Bloom:
Carmine-pink. Strong fragrance. Medium, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
Notes:
Mme. Louis Lévêque and Mme. Edouard Ory are possibly identical in USA commerce.
