Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Madame Louis Lévêque'.

Salmon-pink. Strong fragrance. 100 petals. Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

See also the HP (1864) of the same name. "Rosenlexikon" lists two mossy perpetuals 'Mme. Louis Lévêque' from 1898 and 1903. In 1936, the 1903 version was listed as existing at Sangerhausen, while the 2005 catalogue dates this rose to 1898.
