Origin:
Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2002).
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink and lilac, cerise shading, tan center.  Mild, appleblossom fragrance.  20 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered to flat bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).  Width: 2' to 5' (60 to 150cm).
Growing:
Can be used for container rose, cut flower, exhibition or specimen.  Hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  plant in partial shade for best color.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  
Breeder's notes:
This is currently being offered in limited quantities by Rogue Valley Roses as a 2010 introduction.

Regarding recorded parentage: this is labeled as a 42-02 cross, with the parents Sequoia Ruby and Scarlet Moss. However, I have suspicions that this may have been a stray seed from another cross that got mixed into the 42-02s during sowing. The same year I sowed a cross of Suntan Beauty X Lavender Pinocchio and I suspect this is its true parentage.
