I found a reference (Rosetum Gallicum 1828 pag 70 R. DE PROVINS. ..1737 – Wellington. (Hollande). Fl. Cramoisi-vif.) but to me it is not clear to which rose is referred: Wellington gallica unknown before 1848 carmine-red or Wellington centifolia Calvert 1832 crimson. The colour would say centifolia but the dates (1828 and 1832) and the place (Hollande) do not fit. Any suggestion?
