Hello, HMF friends - I'm trying to identify the yellow climbing rose that is sold by Spring Hill Nursery under the name "Golden Opportunity." It's not the "Golden Opportunity" listed in HMF. This one is a climber by Tom Carruth, also called WEKAUSUJUCTON. Has anybody heard of it? Did Spring Hill simply rename it? Enquiring minds need to know.
Hope all you rosy people are safe and well. Remember, even if you're staying home to "flatten the curve," you can still garden in your backyard!

Hello Ms Lefty. I have added a file for 'Golden Opportunity™ (Climber, Carruth before 2020)'.
I note Spring Hill’s publicity for this rose also says it was bred by Christian Bedard. I believe Tom Carruth retired in 2012 and Christian Bedard took over from him.
Temporarily I have added the two breeders (and two dates!) and hopefully others will help us correct the file,
Down under we are certainly staying home to “flatten the curve”, so what with you up there, and us down here flattening away, we will hopefully come out of this disaster. At the very least, most HelpMeFind members have a garden to help us through this time.
