This is my experience with it:
It's a gorgeous rose that starts out in the early season a deep dark velvety burgundy-red with a very unusual violet sort-of "underglow" that is unlike any other red I've ever seen. As the season progresses, it becomes more of a dark crimson-red and loses that violet tone. Repeat bloom is excellent. It is a spreader, tho, so it needs a lot of room; grows wider than tall.
