Bred by Don Hollingsworth (United States, before 1980).
Introduced in United States by Hollingsworth Nursery in 1993 as 'Early Star'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, yellow center, ages to white .  Red stigmas.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Medium, single, cupped bloom form.  Very early.  
Habit:

Height: up to 35" (up to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Diploid
Notes:
Hollingsworth Nursery says the flowers are yellow white passing to milk white. Flowers at the same time as 'Roselette'.
