Monsieur Martin Cahuzac. This is the darkest red peony. A deep dark garnet in colour. Petals so glossy as to appear varnished. Dessert, 1899. Semi-rose. Dark red. Small to medium. Early midseason. Medium height. Strong erect grower. Dark green leaves edged with red. Reddish stems. Fairly free bloomer. Garden and cutting.
