Class: Intersectional Hybrid / Itoh.   
Bloom: Yellow, red flares.  Moderate fragrance.  Semi-double bloom form.  Midseason.   
Habit: Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
 
Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind). 
Notes: First bloomed 1964, registered 1974.A&D Nursery say 'Yellow Heaven' is one of the first cross hybrids (a cross between a tree peony and an herbaceous peony) by Mr. Itoh of Japan and one of the first to be introduced in the U.S.
