Bred by Auguste Dessert (France, 1902).
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, salmon-pink undertones, lilac shading, crimson streaks, stripes, flecks.  Mild, medicinal, spicy fragrance.  Very large, double, crown bloom form.  Midseason.  
Habit:
Medium, upright.  
Height of up to 39" (up to 100 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.  
Ploidy:
Diploid
