Bred by E.L. "Roy" Pehrson (United States, before 1980).
Introduced in United States by Hollingsworth Nursery in 1994 as 'Golden Wings'.

Bloom:

Cream - yellow, golden-yellow center. Red stigmas. Single, Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form. Early.

Height: 42" to 44" (105 to 110cm).

Notes:

Registered 1994.

Golden Wings has petals of uncommon heavy substance that remain cupped to the end. It has light beige-yellow color with red highlights at the center. The colors intensify in cool weather.
Grown from germinated seed of 'Dawn Glow', same seed lot as 'Dearest'.
