Large, bright crimson flowers. Wide, wavy outer petals, curved, notched inner petals. This is an excellent late variety, one of the last to flower. H. 0.95 m. The outer petals are large, wide, and wavy with pink hues, while the inner petals are narrow, incurved, and notched. Yellow stamens become visible in full bloom. It is unscented. Flowering period: late. The peony 'Karl Rosenfield' is a basic red garden variety. The stems are long, but not very thick, so the plant may require support during the flowering period.
