Hybrid Tea.
Pink and cream.  Mild fragrance.  32 to 36 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, classic hybrid tea, exhibition, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Medium, bushy.  Medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Height of 2' to 4' (60 to 120 cm).  Width of 2' to 3' (60 to 90 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 8b.  Can be used for container rose, cut flower or garden.  Can be grown as a shrub.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires good cultivation if it is to perform its best.
Breeder's notes:
Strawberry Romance is a phototropic exhibition hybrid tea that stays on the bush a long time and continues to grow in size. It's color is a deep pink with a light (sometimes yellowish) reverse in the bud stage that changes in the sun to a medium pink and finally an orangish pink when it is fully mature. It is not uncommon to see two blooms with different colors on the same bush.
Strawberry Romance is commercially available through various garden centers, online sellers, WalMart, Target, K Mart and Ace Hardware nationwide. It is also Available at selected Lowes stores on the West coast.
