Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1869).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Catherine Mermet'.

Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), flat, high-centered to cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 4' to 7' (120 to 215 cm).  Width of 4' (120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
