With a bloom finally opening fully, I am convinced that Robert has accurately identified this rose as 'Alba Odorata.'

Buds and bracts seem to indicate Rosa bracteata breeding. A suggested identification is Rosa bracteata alba odorata.

The Alba Odorata plant received from Vintage roses only took a couple of summers to reach this size. It seems willing to grow further, but is cut back occasionally to keep it at its current size.
