Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp
in 1909 as 'Cramoisi Supérieur, Cl.'.
Crimson. Occasionally striped white in the centre. None to mild fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.
Height of 12' to 20' (365 to 610 cm). Width of 10' (305 cm).
USDA zone 7b through 9b. Very vigorous. prefers dry climates.
