Origin:
Bred by Dr. Keith W. Zary (United States, before 1994).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1994 as 'Dakota'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Moderate fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, open, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Large, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower.  Vigorous.
