'Dame Edith Helen' rose Description

Medium pink Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Dame Edith Helen (hybrid tea, Dickson 1925)
Bloom:
Deep pink, salmon-pink highlights, ages to lighter . Strong fragrance. Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright, well-branched.
Height: 30" to 4'11" (75 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Hardy. vigorous. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot . Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
