Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1976).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1978 as 'Die Welt'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Mild fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 32" to 4' (80 to 120 cm).  Width of 2' to 4' (60 to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 10b.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
