Origin:
Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1986).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1986 as 'Senteur Royale'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Violet and pink.  Strong, damask fragrance.  40 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
