Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, before 1936).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1939 as 'Baby Château'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Glossy, bronze-green, dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
