Bloom:
Yellow blend, red center. Strong fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 1". Single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
1 leaflets. Height of up to 18" (up to 45 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b. Drought resistant. heat tolerant. prefers dry climates. prefers full sun.
Notes:
Native to eastern Persia, Afghanistan and Turkestan. Rosa persica is the only species in subgenus Hulthemia. Diploid.
