Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1956).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1958 as 'Zwergkönig'.

Miniature.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red.  Mild fragrance.  up to 25 petals.  Small, semi-double to double, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, compact.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 8" to 10" (20 to 25cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
