Floribunda, Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub.
Yellow. None to mild fragrance. 25 to 33 petals. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Height of 20" to 3' (50 to 90 cm). Width of 20" to 5' (50 to 150 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for ground cover. Drought resistant. heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to disease. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. , in Canada, says she purchased this rose under its synonym 'Canicule'. She says it is low, free-flowering, yellow semi-double blooms, and glossy foliage. It lacks a strong fragrance and the yellow color can fade in the sun.
Pépinières Loubert's 2002 Catalogue lists this rose as a Floribunda with a date of circa 1980.
