Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1918).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Franklin'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink, salmon-orange shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Named after Irwin Franklin Ward (February 13, 1877 - September 2, 1880), eldest child of Rear Admiral and of Mrs. Aaron Ward, and the first two die in infancy.
