Bred by Jack L. Harkness (United Kingdom, 1975).
Introduced in United Kingdom by R Harkness & Co. Ltd. in 1985 as 'Tigris'.
Class:
Hybrid Hulthemia persica.  
Bloom:
Yellow blend, red center.  None / no fragrance.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, double (17-25 petals), rosette bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:

Height: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm).  Width: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Arno, a member of the Rose Hybridizers Association, has studied articles by Harkness about the Hulthemia breeding program, and he concludes that the pollen parent of 'Tigris' is probably the Hybrid Musk 'Cornelia' rather than 'Trier'.
