Origin:
Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, before 1908).
Introduced in France by Guillot/Roseraies Pierre Guillot in 1908 as 'Entente Cordiale'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1910 as 'Entente Cordiale'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, golden-yellow undertones, salmon-yellow reverse, salmon-pink edges.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
