Discovered by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1950).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1953 as 'Michèle Meilland, Cl.'.

Light pink, lilac shading.  Strong fragrance.  30 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
