Bred by G. Delbard (France, 1973).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Bees of Chester / Sealand Nurseries Ltd. as 'Black Beauty'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1976 as 'Black Beauty'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, darker reverse.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
