Growing:
USDA zone 3b and warmer. Hardy. drought resistant. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant.. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..
Notes:
Sets a heavy crop of large scarlet hips. The Swedish Rose Society recommends Hansa for northern Sweden. Sam Kedem says 'Hansa' is suitable as a screen and it suckers profusely.
